for Telco, ISP, cable operators, in the advent of digital media.
Adequate bandwidth of the last mile is the key success factor
for digital media over Internet. This access part of the network
is very cost-sensitive for deployment and heavily dependent on
incumbent installation of physical cables.
AMS Access solution provides various options for operators to
upgrade their access networks based on their current
infrastructure; FTTH implementation based on GE-PON, Broadband
implementation over HFC using Coaxial LAN*, EOC (Ethernet Over
Coaxial) and DOCSIS, and Mesh WLAN implementation for wireless
environment.
* Coaxial LAN is the AMS own product that can support more than
60Mbps in both downlink and uplink.
