CallView

VoIP is commonly used in both Enterprises and Telcos due to its low cost nature, but a quality management of this emerging technology is still a challenge. As VoIP traffic shares the same IP network with other heavy data traffic, quality of voice services may be compromised. Accordingly, there is a strong demand for VoIP monitoring and analysis tools.

Our VoIP traffic analysis, CallView, provides detailed usage information about VoIP traffic.

As illustrated above, AMS CallView solution works with Call Managers (CMs) from the network to get detailed usage of VoIP traffic based on the called parties and duration of each call. It also provides troubleshooting information such as causes of failed calls.

The solution provides useful VoIP traffic analysis tool so that operators can optimize and plan an efficient VoIP network. As a result, an efficient VoIP network will help reduce operational costs.

As illustrated in the above diagram, CallView works with Call Managers (CMs) that are typically deployed in IP networks for VoIP communications. CM catches information about VoIP calls, such as calling party, called party.

CallView then fetches this information from CMs and stores it in database.

After a login procedure that is protected by name and password verification, network operators can easily identify VoIP usage statistics through various graphic diagrams. In-depth analysis of the performance of VoIP services such as daily, weekly and monthly analysis are possible through history and reporting feature of our AMS CallView solution.

The solution provides useful VoIP traffic analysis tool so that operators can optimize and plan an efficient VoIP network, which in-turn helps reducing operational costs.
