CatchFlow

Traffic pattern analysis is the crucial point for a secured network infrastructure. This is because malicious users are capable of consuming valuable network resources, and in the process jeopardise the entire network.

CatchFlow is a network traffic analysing solution tool that enables the Systems Operators to analyse on network traffic, manage and optimise their networks efficiency. The solution is based on various technologies, commonly used in networking industry for scalable and cost-effective traffic monitoring.

As illustrated in the above diagram, CatchFlow solution uses a Client-Server concept, condidting of on Flow Server (as a Server) and one or more Viewers (as Clients).

Network operators can use Viewers to enable the traffic flow protocols such as the popular Netflow (used by Cisco Systems), cFlow (used by Juniper Networks), and sFlow (by other networking equipment), to send traffic information to the Flow Server in regular interval.

Flow Server then classifies and stores this traffic information into database. Network operators can analyse traffic usage pattern form various angles through Viewer client program, such as those based on traffic per IP address, traffic per applications and etc.

As presented in the above diagram, visual charts produced by AMS Catch Flow solution allow network operators to identify traffic usage pattern graphically, after a login procedure that is protected by name and password verification.
